Nvlddmkm.sys Driver Causes Blue Screen

The nvlddkm.sys driver for my geforce 6150se nforce 430 graphics card causes a blue screen of death whenever i watch a youtube video for a long period of time. I re-installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, and it still does this. I run windows 7 ultimate 64bit, skype, teamviewer, pidgin client, mirc, firefox, kaspersky internet security 2010, opendns updater, itunes, and outlook 2007.

This problem has caused an unbootble machine when it first happened. It stops happening when i uninstall the nvlddkm.sys display driver, but when it gets reinstalled via windows u[date, and i reboot, it blue-screens. When i re-installed the os, i could work normally again. I am afraid this problem could start again however.

Error - 0x0000003b Nvlddmkm.sys

When installing win 7 64 bit from dvd on a blank hard drive (i hit format before installing) it goes through installation and at the end i get a blue screen with errors 0x0000003b nvlddmkm.sys. I have a nvidia 280 gtx vid card, evga nforce 780i sli motherboard, 6 gigs of ram, quad core intel 3gz processor.

I had vista prior but had vista ultimate 64 bit and win 7 home premium won't upgrade so i had to do a clean install. It keeps failing with the blue screen and 0x0000003b nvlddmkm.sys errors over and over. Please don't make me re-install vista, how can i get this to work? I just got my win 7 dvd today.

Classpnp.sys Blue Screen

I upgraded to windows 7 professional from xp about 3 months ago. The system worked really well until earlier this week.computer was switched off correctly but on switching on a few hours later the system went into a continuous loop of restarting itself. If i try to load in safe mode the system stops at classpnp.sys. I have tried to re-install from the windows upgrade disk but it seems to go so far and then just stops or i get the blue screen.

I have checked all the message boards but so far there is nothing that has worked. This is the only pc that i have access to that is running windows 7 - all of the rest are on xp. I dont care if i lose the information on my hard drive as it was all backed up before i upgraded to windows 7.

Problem: Delay On Boot Due To Drivers Files: Ndproxy.sys, Srv.sys, And Vga.sys

Recently installed a fresh copy of windows 7 x86 and x64 in separate instances to see if the problem of a two minute period between the "windows is starting" screen and the desktop. Neither had a visible impact. I looked around online and found how to create a boot log. The following are the drivers/services that could not be installed during my startup:

4 instances of ndproxy. Svs
1 instance of vga.sys (hadn't installed video card driver yet)
1 instance of srv.sys

After installing the necessary drivers and with no alert from the device manager, the boot time is still roughly 2 minutes. Right now i am at a loss on what to do. For reference my avg startup time in xp was around 10 seconds from the windows logo. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Nvidia Go 6150 Gpu Driver Causes Blue Screen

I installed windows 7 ultimate-64 on my hp pavilion tx1000 series touchscreen laptop model tx1308ca with nvidia nforce go6150 gpu. I successfully used the old hp vista64 smbus & smu driver to get rid of the "processor" driver issue, and then used windows update to install the latest gpu driver (version 7. 15. 11. 7967 by nvidia).

Everything worked well, until i started the windows performance assessment test. The test goes through direct3d 9 tests without a hitch, skips all directx 10 tests, and goes to blue screen of death immediately upon starting the windows media tests. This happens every time and in the same "spot" when the test is run.

I later noted that windows crashes to bsod also every time i try to access the web cam (usb 2. 0 camera driver v. 6. 1. 7600. 16385 from windows update). I also could not access the fingerprint setup software (instant bsod), that got installed with authentec aes1610 driver v. 2. 0. 0. 18 from windows update. Bsod does not happen during any other usage of my laptop, but i do not use it to play games or videos.

I rolled back the graphics driver to standard vga with 1280x800 resolution, keeping all other drivers as they were, and was able to run the windows performance assessment test, use the camera & set up the fingerprint recognition software. No problems encountered, but the graphics assessment is at 1. 0 & gpu ram is not available.

Updating gpu driver back to the one from windows update brings all the bsod problems back. Upon re-start & recovery, i have allowed windows to report the problem to microsoft (on at least 10 occasions over the past month), but there is no resolution yet. I tried driver files suggested on hp support forum pages, on laptopvideo2go website, but none of them will install with go 6150 gpu on my laptop. I heard that old hp vista64 gpu driver will not work with windows7-64, but have not tried this option.

I also downloaded and successfully installed sp45169 from hp (suggested on hp forums for nvidia smbus & smu laptop driver under windows 7-64) - works fine but there is no improvement in bsod occurrences and causes. Is microsoft working with or without hp & nvidia on a solution to symptoms quoted?

The laptop is only 2 years old, but hp refuses to support this series for windows 7 and nvidia states that the manufacturer (hp) requested they do not supply the driver as it must be optimized for system management (thermal, lid closure, etc. Issues). This catch 22 is outrageous!  Can microsoft exert its considerable influence to help solve the driver issue?

Blue Screen - Bsod - Driver Power State Failure

Every so often my laptop (hp tx2525nr) will have a blue screen of death with the error message: driver power state failure. It also will also occasionally freeze up and the screen will become all jumbled with lines and stuff and i will have to do a forced shut down. Either one of these will happen about twice a week, sometimes even more than that.

I have tried updating my drivers multiple times but no luck. I used to have vista (x64) but did a clean install of windows 7 professional (x64) hoping that would fix my problem, but still no luck.

Wow / Graphics Error - Display Driver Nvlddmkm Stopped Responding

On the following computer, i am having terrible crashing issues while playing wow. The wow critical error states:"not enough memory to process command - 11, 538 bytes requested". When running 3d mark vantage i can reproduce the "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

Processor intel(r) core(tm) i7 cpu 920 @ 2. 67ghz
Component details
Graphics nvidia geforce gtx 295
Gaming graphics 4095 mb total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 53gb free (140gb total)
Vista ultamate 64 bit version with service pac 2

Forums are full of posters stating that this is a vista / nvidia incompatibility issue that has been around for years and that the problem is not being addressed. I have tried everything i can think of, from checking ram to downloading new drivers, to deleting wow junk folders. I have reseated everything, run every diagnostic tool on the plane, downloaded patches, checked for viruses and still no help.

I am currently able to play wow on the lowest graphics settings and avoidance of major cities. With this level of equipment, its a shame, i really should be able to do more. Has anyone got any suggestions of what i can do at this point?

Netw5v64.sys Driver Issue Causes Bsod

I began getting the bsod randomly and frequently. In the time between yesterday until now, i have gotten nearly 30 bsod's. I know enough about computers to pinpoint the problem, and after debugging to the best of my ability, i determined that the driver netw5v64.sys was causing the crash.

Here is my pc info:
Dell inspiron 1525
4 gb memory
2. 4ghz duel core proc.
Integrated intel video card ~ 965chipset (i think this is correct)
280gb harddrive

The crash occurs at random, but only when i am accessing my wireless network adapter
Conditions that have changed that might have caused this:

- Yesterday around 2:00 i connected my computer to a netgear router. I live on a college campus that uses cisco security, but i wanted to broadcast my own wireless direct from an ethernet connection. I disabled dhcp and all router security. It worked and i was then able to connect through the wireless network i created into the school internet.

Other than this i cannot imagine what the problem is, and i cant seem to fix it. I have reinstalled, uninstalled, and updated all the wireless network drivers. I have check internet forms and i have found that a number of people running 64x windows are having this same issue!

Athrxusb.sys Driver Problem Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

I have been having a terrible time with a new computer i have purchased, it is the infamous driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. After searching the internet relentlessly for a solution to this problem, i have decided to post my own question, because it seems that this error is caused by faulty drivers or not properly installed drivers. I then searched for the driver named in the bsod, athrxusb.sys, and found it belongs to my smcwusb-g, part number 99-012084-552.

I have followed the procedures of many forums before deciding to post, i have tried uninstalling old drivers, moving the wireless adapter to different usb ports, and reinstalling the drivers. I also used programs such as device doctor to locate old and outdated drivers to replace them.
I would just go buy another wireless adapter, but i am worried that the driver, athrxusb.sys, will be required for any wireless adapter, no matter which i buy. I have seen that this error spans across multiple versions of windows operating systems, why not release a patch to fix this error? Is there one? If there is can it become more readily available to the public?

Ultimately i would like to fix the solution, buying a new device is not out of the option, i just want my pc to be able to connect to the internet without causing a bsod and wireless is the only option.

Blue Screen - Driver_power_state_failure

I have owned windows 7 for about 5 months now. I upgraded to windows 7 professional from windows xp home edition. I also upgraded to 4gb of ram. Since then, i have, at random times, received the blue screen of death and then my computer quickly shuts down and reboots. I haven't bothered with getting it fixed because it wasn't too much of a problem for me, but now it seems to be recurring a lot more often. I have already had it happen twice today.

However, sometimes it is not always a blue screen, it may just turn black, shut off, and reboot. When it is a blue screen i notice it says driver_power_state_failurealso note that whenever this problem happens, i am always on internet explorer 8, not doing anything out of the ordinary either. My computer just gets these screens at random times. I have looked at other topics in this forum for the answer, but it has been difficult finding a solution.

Blue Screen Problem

I been lurking around here for sometime hoping to find some answers to my problem. While cleaning my files in my laptop, i accidentally delete my boot.ini so i encountered "ntdlr missing problem "press alt ctrl delete". I have my windows xp 98 cd & made a boot from there but it's asking for administrator password although i didn't have a password. So i given up on doing this stuff.

To keep my old files from losing i decided not to reformat my laptop since i didn't have any back up of it. So my friend & i decided to install windows 7, but whenever i watch movie from a dvd- rom i encountered some problem. The images goes blurred then eventually my laptop crashed. Diagnosis were:

Blue Screen Of Death

Running windows 7 professional, ie 8 - keep getting unexpected shutdowns with the following errors: 1) memory management and 2) pfn list corrupt. For the memory management error i have run the memory diagnostics and the results indicate that i have a hardware problem and i should contact the manufacturer (gateway). Unfortunately, i no longer have a warranty and they charge $60 for 1/2 hour. (I have spent that much and the technical support person didn't resolve my problem).

I don't have a clue as what pfn list corrupt is. Please note that i am not a tech person and all the reports(dumps) that vare generated are useless to me, since they are not clear to read.
I do run all my maintenance and antivirus programs daily and try to keep everything according to protocol. Yet i keep getting the blue screen of deaths. Please also note that i always get a window after the fact that reads: "windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown. "

Questions:

1) if i purchase a new hard disk, would this take care of the problem or not?

2) does ram have anything to do with these errors? 3) what other alternatives are there?

Would appreciate solid guidelines and your enlightening me on the above resolution.

Blue Screen At Login

I bought my friend laptop after he came back from iraq cause he no longer wanted it. I was going threw changing the stuff to make it mine, like user name and what not. Well i tried to change the computer name as it was his name kebowlin-pc and it said to do this to restart the computer. I did, and now when the computer gets to windows 7 login screen it goes to the blue screen error. I have done two system restores with no luck. I have also tried changing the name back with now luck. This is what it is telling me.

Also a weird thing that i don't under stand is that the main user file is his name and it has a little lock on its pic in the user files, but i am the only person on the computer and the only admin.

Constant Blue Screen

I recently purchased a computer running windows 7 home premium 64-bit. Here are the basic specs.
Intel(r) core(tm) i5 cpu 750 @ 2. 67 ghz 8. 00gb ram

I bought this pc mainly for gaming (primarily steam, but i've been running games like dragon age: origins and cryostas is without the client). However, recently, every time i quit a game (or any program that's full screen, really) or attempt to change my resolution/display settings, i instantly get a blue screen. This can be at any time; i can boot the computer (which only take about 45-60 seconds) and instantly boot, for example, team fortress 2; and the second i quit it, i get the blue screen. Because of this i somehow doubt it has anything to do with overheating issues, but i myself wouldn't really know. Here's the error code that i receive upon windows' revival.

Blue Screen 0x1e

Well, i received a new computer about a month ago, and it's been running perfectly until today. I started it up and was customizing the dock when my virus program, mcafee, told me i needed to restart my computer because it had recently updated. After it rebooted, it ran fine until suddenly a blue screen popped up with some text on it. Sorry, but i didn't have time to read the text because it popped up and left so fast. I did get to read something about it needing to shutdown to protect data (i think), but that's about it.

Anyway, when it rebooted, it stopped in the middle of it and told me the unexpected shutdown caused some problems and told me that i might be able to recover my data if i started windows in safe mode, so i chose the regular safe mode and rebooted it. It started with the screen resolution in 800x600, and looked like windows 2000 with a few different things. The background was now this black screen with "safe mode" text in all four corners, and "microsoft" text centered on top of the screen. It opened up two things, one being a "what is safe mode" help window, and the other being some sort of error window telling me that "windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" and that windows could "check online for a solution to the problem the next time you go online. ' and then told me the error details.

After i had read all of it and copied the error details to a notepad file, i rebooted again hoping it'd turn back to normal. It started up again and is currently running normally without any problems, but i still want to know what happened, why, and how i could fix and/or prevent the issue from appearing in the future.

I get a bsod randomly when using ie8. Using bluescreen view i typically get the following info: a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. I installed a usb bluetooth adapter today on my toshiba laptop running windows 7, and i have been getting consistent blue screen errors since the install. The computer generally starts fine, but shortly after log in (2-10 minutes) i get a blue screen error. Blue Screen With Error D1

Blue screen with windows 7 i"ve been running windows 7 since it came out in october with no issues. Back in march after an update and reboot i've had restart after restart problems, many giving me different errors everytime. Sometimes i can load in safe mode, but it usually takes me rebooting 10 times to get there. I roll back to the previous update and seem to get restarted only to start the process all over again on another reboot. Some of the errors i've gotten are memory_management, or unknown hard error(systemootsystem32dll.dll), a usb driver error, page fault in non page area, e tc.

I haven't installed anything, and even tried a clean install and before i run any updates im getting restart errors again. I currently have all updates turned off so its not a new update thats causing this. Im ready to go back to windows xp im so frustrated. We run windows 7 on 4 other computers and we haven't had any issues so not sure why its just me. This is a copy of the latest error i received
