No Flash Player With Ie Or Msn Browser

Flash player quit working with ie and msn explorer on my toshiba laptop in late '08 but worked fine with safari and firefox, so i didn't miss it much. I recently upgraded to win7 and assumed that would finally allow me to get my flash player back working with msn and ie, but no joy. Any ideas how i can resolve, i'm paying for qwest msn but can't watch youtube or any of the other vids requiring flash and it's kinda annoying. Adobe infers it might be a registry problem.

Adobe Flash Player Download Problem

I was told this morning i needed to download the latest version of adobe flash player, which is 10. 1. Upon attempting to do so, i was told i needed to uninstall any previous versions, which i did. When i tried to download the new version, i was then told it failed, and i would have to temporarily disable my anti-virus, which i am not going to do. Can anyone please tell me what's going on here? I would assume adobe is a trusted site-i do have adobe reader.

Adobe Flash Player, Win 7, 64-bit Os

I recently upgraded to windows 7/64 bit and of course i'm having issues with adobe flash player. When i was running vista on the same system prior to windows 7, ie worked and flash worked therefore i was probably running ie 32.

When i try to execute ie 32 bit on windows 7 64 bit, the "circle/hour glass" appears and the goes away immediately with the ie 32 bit screen not displaying. Ie 64 bit does work except for any pages that need the flash player.

I have read many answers that say this should work until adobe releases the 64 bit product. I can't determine what is going on.

32-bit Browser Not Working After Win 7 Upgrade

I have upgraded from windows vista to windows 7 from the dell free upgrade disk. Since then my 32 bit version of ie 8 no longer works. The only reason that this is bad is because i can't connect to the internet through any programs such as norton windows live or windows media player. The 64 bit version works but i can not make it my default browser and link it with those programs. Does anyone have any ideas. I have tried using the advanced trouble shooter and reseting internet explorer and nothing has worked for me.

Error - You Need To Download Flash

Windows 7 on a 64 bit system thus all ie games just error message " you need to download flash. Just click here. " Abode does not have a flash for 64 bit sys _susann_love my new 4g win 7 hp laptop. The games impacted, on my system and it seems to be related to the 64-bit sys i bought, are on gsn.com & comcast.net games:

1. I ran the troubleshooting option, as these games worked on my xp system, with both service packs 2 and 3, which were downloaded immediately.
2. Java uploaded a patch immediately as well.

All seemed well with the world until this morning when i launched a trivia game on comcast and got that same error message. The troubleshooter did not recognize the program, tried to fo its thing and ran a check and said try the online support group. Basically i think comcast games may have some funky code - that it my interpretation, not microsoft.

Fyi - pogo.com games were always 100% ok.

Download Programs To Default Folder "program Files" 32-bit Or 64-bit

I have been confused if programs automatically download to the optimum "program files" for 32-bit or 64-bit or do i have to select which if the two program files i want it in? It seems everything has been going into the x86 file. I don't want to just move them all over to the 64-bit file if they really belong in the x86 file, but i am sure my new photoshop programs belong in the program files file yet they seen to have downloaded into the program files (x86) instead. Also, how am i to know which programs are better suited for either folder?

Update: i tried copying the photoshop file and moving it to the 64-bit folder but it won't let me do so, saying a file is in use somewhere. I do not have any files from this open; i even restarted the computer to completely close anything that might be open and i get the same message. Is this maybe because it does not belong in the program files folder for 64-bit programs? Any other hints on how i can move this program, along with adobe premiere elements (for making videos) that gives me the same message? I have been told these programs would work better running as 64-bit programs so that is why i want to move them.

Flash Player

I have vista on one of my computers and for some reason, it tells me i need to install flash player when i try to watch videos. Even after i install the new flash player, it doesn't recognize it, and once again prompts me to install it. The only way i have found around it is to re-install the browser. Afterwards, everything works fine until i start the computer next time. Then the process starts again. Why do i have to re-install the browser to get it to recognize the flash player?  I have tried several different browsers with the same results (iexplorer, avant, orca, etc).

Javascript And Flash Player

Two days ago my vista ultimate machine worked fine on youtube and other sites for viewing video. Yesterday, when i visited the geni.com site and later the youtube site, i got the following message:

Hello, you either have javascript turned off or an old version of adobe's flash player. Get the latest flash player.

I loaded the latest flash player and this made no difference. After checking here in the forums i found a couple threads that led me to the help page for script enabling. I followed those proceedures to no avail. My first question is how do i fix this. My second question would be, what happened two days ago?

Cannot Use Adobe Flash Player On Ie

Using windows xp home edition sp2 on ie8. I begin. It was all working fine until either an upgrade to ie8 or when switching from avast free to avast license. Following reference from various forums, i downloaded and saved from adobe the uninstall and install files as attempting to directly install from adobe site did nothing. Not much success, even when disabling all from the tray and disabling av. Finally, used file hippo and downloaded version 10. 1. 51. 66. When i check on adobe version test the site asks to run add on. 'adobe flash player 10. 1d51'

When confirmed it sees the player as the correct version and names the operating system as xp. When i go to manage add ons shockflash object is there. Double click it and the remove all sites button is highlighted. I click on this to allow all sites and close. However, try you tube and it dont work. Go to, for instance, club penguin and its looking for a flash player.come out of ie, try again and shock flash object is not in the currently loaded add ons, back to adobe version test and again its looking to run the previous add on that i've just allowed for all websites!

Please help. Easy solution is to use firefox, which works perfectly fine but ie is essential for home schooling do i have an active x problem?Internet security settings seem ok. Using avg free as av

Flash Player Problem

I recently got (for christmas) an acer aspire laptop with windows 7 home premium. Everything seemed to be working fine - youtube, game sites, etc. Suddenly, it stopped working. I'm assuming that because i cannot do anything that needs  flash player, that maybe adobe came out with a new version of flash player or something, in which case i would need to download it.

After quite a few hours of research, i encountered something over and over about how you couldn't get flash player on a 64 bit operating system. I'm so confused. I read something on adobe.com that said i could use flash player on a 32 bit browser on my 64 bit system, but the only available step by step instructions were for xp or vista. Does no one care about glitches with windows 7?
