Sttray64.exe Application Error

Sttray64.exe application error, mmc.exe application error, and a zte usb modem that has started giving me access violation errors/msdart.dll and eolesys errors in module dll_netcard_r.dll

Windows 7 home with norton 360 2010

Part 1: the problem started with my zte usb modem giving me the different access violations, it says that msdart.dll was not designed to work with the operating system, along with the eolesys errors and access violations. It previously worked fine, and now i'm not sure why it won't work.

Part 2: i also after the previous errors started, that right after booting up that it gave me a sttray64.exe application error. I would close it, and eventually had norton not let it bootup with the system which solved that problem. Then i noticed that i also was denied access to the device manager through a mmc.exe application error. Also certain command prompts like event-viewer give me the application error etc.

What kind of problem could this be? It seems to be acting like a virus, but my system speed and functionality has remained great. It's not slow and doesn't reboot or give me problems outside when i look for the things mentioned above. Norton has always been up and running and its never given lets worms through before.

I've tried system restore back a few months and from the backup i had on an external but it doesn't change anything. Would a return to factory settings help?

Startrep.exe Application Error

I recently decided to try and speed up my dell inspiron 17 running windows 7 home premium 64-bit computer by installing registry mechanic. I ran the application and after it repaired my registry files, it asked to restart the computer. Since i restarted i have not been able to log on to windows once. I dual boot ubuntu via wubi so that is how i am accessing the internet.

Everytime i try to run windows, the startup stops and asks if i would like to run the startup repair function. Everytime i try to restore to a recent backup point i get the message startrep.exe application error the instruction at 0xfe2811b2 referenced memory at 0x00431588. The memory could not be read. I would like to run chkdsk, but i do not know how to if i can not run windows. I also have recieved the error message (0x8000ffff).

Error - .exe Is Not A Valid Win32 Application

I am consistently having problems downloading programs from the internet. I am confident that it is not a corrupted file issue as i am downloading (or trying to!) From dependable sources - hp, autodesk, etc. These error messages occur both when i try to just run the .exe or save it and then run it. I have tried the en. Kioskea.net link i seen in many posts and that is no help. Perhaps a clue is that i received a file directly from the source via email and the file ran fine. Seems to imply it's a downloading or .exe setting issue, but i am not savvy enough to figure it out.

Exe Not A Valid Win32 Application

I just received my hp dv6z from hp.com and turned it on and set everything up correctly i believe. I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to computers but i can't figure this out. ".exe is not a valid win32 application" after every single time i want to go to setup of something also says "this installation package could not be opened" on some different files i'm trying to install. My downloads also do not complete all the time, they get to like 90% then stop going up.

Im running windows 7 and already reformatted once with the recovery thing only to come back to the same situation. Right when i get into the computer after setting it up after a reformat i have full access like a normal computer but then it starts to give me win32 error and download issues. I just transferred a downloaded file by usb from my workout computer to the new one that doesn't open files correctly and it works fine installing. Something with the download process is jacking up the file or something not sure!

Error - Logonui Exe No Disk - Outlook Exe No Disk

I have windows 7 professional running 64 bit. A very annoying error pops up every five minutes or so. The message varies and can read "logonui exe no disk" or "outlook exe no disk" or "your favorite app. - No disk" depending on what i am running at the time. I have looked at many forums and can see that this error occurred in previous windows flavors. Some answers point to malware or infected file, others seem to think it's a corrupt install file. I have a fresh install of win 7. My previous os being xp.

I have reinstalled win7 and tried repair functions. No luck so far.

Application Error 0xc000007b

Recently loaded windows 7. About half the time when i boot the computer up, at start up, i get an msn.exe application error - the application was unable to start correctly - 0xc000007b at start up.

I click ok, hit control/alt/delete keys to run the taskmrg.exe (to check what programs are running) and get the same message.

During this same window session, i attempt to launch programs and get the following error message "there is not enough memory to run this program. Exit one or more programs and try again. I've not loaded any other programs except for what is loaded at start up.

To resolve, i have to reboot the system. It usually clears up the program.

Error - Unsupported 16-bit Application

When ever i start up my computer and log into my, or any account there are no icons, background or start bar. I have to navigate to get to anything using using task manager. I believe it has something to do with windows explorers registery. This is what comes up when i first log in. Unsupported 16-bit application the program or feature "? C:windowsexplorer.exe" cannot start or run due to the incompatibility with 64-bit version of windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit windows compatible version is available.

The thing is that i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. This all happened when my graphics card died, and i had to stick a really old pci card in (fx 5200) until i got the replacement. A few days ago it stopped showing anything related to explorer. So when i got my new cards (gts 250, and 4890) they both did the same thing. I updated my graphics  drivers for both ati, and then nvidia but it did not fix anything. I have even tried system restore, and the program it runs to try and fix things before it loads windows. I have scanned for viruses and found nothing. Sorry if this seems long winded but a lot has happened please help!

Cmd.exe Error 0xc0000142

I recently installed windows 7 professional in a clean install onto a new primary hdd. I left the windows 7 rc install installed as a secondary hdd on thew same computer. Booted the rc version of windows 7 to run outlook 2007 and export the messages rules. When i did this, i saved the file to my new windows 7 installation's profile desktop.

When i rebooted to run the new instance of windows 7 pro, it ran a disk check and found some errors. It completed the reboot and windows boots fine but i started getting the error 0xc0000142 whenever i tried run a command prompt or any other application that looks like it launches via a cmd prompt. I tried creating a new admin level user to run at that user to see if it was a user rights issue to no avail.

I ran a system restore to a day prior to the disk check fiasco, didn't help. When booting up and selecting the repair option, i am able to select the command prompt choice and run cmd prompt. Sfc doesn't work. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to find a found. 000 folder anywhere from the disk check to see what files may have had issues.

Error Crash Wininit.exe

Registry corruption, no repair options! Computer was doing a reg scan and my dog unplugged the computer, on next boot up bsod after os loaded. Here is my memory.dmp it is the only dmp file i could find.

http://dl. Dropbox.com/u/9604078/memory.dmp

System runs startup repair.

Problem signature:
Problem event name: startuprepairoffline
Problem signature 01: 6. 1. 7600. 16385
Problem signature 02: 6. 1. 7600. 16385

Problem signature 06: 15
Problem signature 07: baddriver
Os version: 6. 1. 7600. 2. 0. 0. 256. 1
Local id: 1033

Startup repair log:

Last successful boot time: 7/26/2010 4:50:16 am (gmt)
Number of repair attempts: 14
-
All scans return 0x0

-

Root cause found:

Startup repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem.

-

So next i tried system restore:
Latest restore point 7/26/2010 5:51:45 am

Local disk (c:) (system) status you must enable system protection on this drive. It is enabled which is why i have the restore point. It says this with all other restore points

-

Then i tried system image recovery. When i load image i get an error: this image does not belong to this system, please select an image of this system

-

Then i tried reloading windows 7 and i get and error: your system is missing some drivers for your cd/dvd rom please load drivers. It just booted off the dvd- and windows has all the drivers!. No joy :(

-

I can run regedit from command prompt so then i tried to repair the reg manually and found broken link to explorerframes.dll it will not allow me to modify the registery, the keys just don't save.

I also found that i could run any program that does not require explorer or the registry from command prompt in repair mode.

Is there a way to manually restore a restore point with out system restore? Or something like that?

I have tried the msconfig option as stated in another forum. Disabling all services (non microsoft) and startup items does not stop the error. I have also done a system file check on the file (c:windowssystem32winlogon.exe) and no integrity violations are found. It does not seem to affect the functionality but is very annoying. Any feedback would be great. My girlfriend states that she did not change anything or install any new programs (which i can verify), but who knows what really happened.
